Key Responsibilities

• Provide targeted physical therapy interventions aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and optimizing muscle function, adhering closely to prescribed treatment plans from physicians.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants to ensure they implement care plans accurately, maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional levels through diagnostic assessments to achieve comprehensive insights into their muscle and joint capabilities.
• Assess home environments and recommend modifications that enhance client independence, contributing to their rehabilitation success.
• Deliver exemplary physical therapy services in clients' homes, employing techniques such as manual therapeutic exercises and non-manual functional activities.
• Administer traction, massage, and utilize state-of-the-art treatment modalities to facilitate patient recovery.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, ensuring close collaboration with physicians for optimal adjustments.
• Develop, review, and update comprehensive care plans in consultation with interprofessional teams to reflect ongoing progress and patient needs.
• Monitor and document changes in client conditions meticulously, providing insights and recommendations for care plan modifications as needed.
• Prepare and maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations and progress notes, in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to contribute effectively to collective treatment planning and assessment discussions.
• Educate clients and their families on the use of physical therapy devices and home-based rehabilitation programs, enhancing their involvement in the recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on clients recuperating from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, aiming to restore mobility and improve functional abilities. We cater to a diverse demographic, ranging from elderly individuals needing post-operative care to younger patients experiencing sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist in settings such as acute care or home care.
• Current and valid PT licensure in Virginia, in good standing.
• Active CPR certification.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
