Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement personalized therapy plans, conducting thorough evaluations with a focus on early intervention and same-day assessments.
• Manage clinical workflows efficiently to optimize patient intake, referral processing, and appointment scheduling.
• Foster a professional and collaborative environment by encouraging teamwork, promoting quality care, and ensuring patient safety.
• Identify clinical improvement opportunities through regular engagement with the Designated Therapy Officer (DTO) and other staff members.
• Maintain ongoing communication with employers, referral sources, and payer groups to enhance relationships and facilitate patient access to care.
• Utilize clinical systems to document patient interactions effectively, ensuring compliance with coding standards and capturing all necessary charges.
• Stay current with the Florida State Practice Act and associated regulations to ensure compliant patient care practices.
• Lead initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction metrics, driving a culture of excellence within the clinic.
• Mentor and support staff therapists, managing clinical outcomes and addressing cases that require additional attention.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse array of patients, including those recovering from surgery, athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, and individuals managing chronic pain. Your approach will be tailored to the unique needs of each patient, emphasizing rehabilitation techniques that optimize recovery and enhance physical function. Your role is pivotal in guiding patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they receive the care necessary for effective recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to utilize logic for decision making and identifying innovative solutions.
• Exceptional customer service capabilities, demonstrating professionalism and tact in all client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient therapy setting is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
