Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your essential duties will include:

• Facilitating individual, group, and family counseling sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to client needs.

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring their implementation to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Carrying out the client intake process and addressing any emerging concerns throughout the therapeutic relationship.

• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes clinical directors, program directors, and fellow counselors, to provide cohesive care.

• Identifying and addressing patients' negative behaviors by engaging in meaningful questioning and observation of their responses and actions.

• Supporting residents in overcoming addiction challenges by helping them identify harmful behaviors and cope with urges effectively.

• Maintaining accurate documentation of client progress, ensuring compliance with best practices in patient care, and making service referrals as appropriate.

• Conducting therapy sessions that may include reviewing patient analyses, facilitating random drug tests, and evaluating therapy effectiveness.

• Fostering positive relationships with clients, families, visitors, and colleagues to create a warm and welcoming therapeutic environment.

• Performing additional tasks as needed to support clinic operations and contribute to team goals.

Qualifications\n

A successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Possession of a Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline.

• Active and valid state license as an LPC, LMFT, or LICSW, meeting all state regulations.

• Fluency in English, with the capability to read, write, and converse effectively.
