Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough screenings and assessments of clients to identify unique mental health needs, with a focus on maternal and postpartum issues.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to clients' specific goals and challenges, integrating evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques.

• Provide individual, couple, and family counseling sessions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in their mental health journeys.

• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress, ensuring an adaptive approach that meets their evolving needs.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to comply with ethical and legal standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, including psychologists and social workers, to create a seamless and comprehensive care experience for clients.

• Commit to ongoing education and training, ensuring knowledge remains contemporary and relevant for best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on serving individuals and families navigating the perinatal period, including pregnancy and postpartum challenges. This includes providing support for anxiety, depression, identity shifts, and relationship dynamics during this life stage. You will engage primarily with new parents, offering them strategies and support tailored to their unique emotional needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure in Washington state as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience providing therapy to diverse populations, particularly focusing on maternal and postpartum mental health.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly.
\n
• Strong organizational skills, maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
\n
• Adept in developing adaptive treatment approaches, demonstrating flexibility and creativity in therapeutic methods.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working specifically with parenting issues, maternal mental health, or in community health settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and practices will also be beneficial as we continue to expand our virtual services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
