Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred from physicians, creating personalized treatment plans based on their unique needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to facilitate the rehabilitation process.
• Communicate effectively with patients, educating them on their conditions, treatment options, and progress to ensure a collaborative approach to recovery.
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions to maintain accurate records and comply with regulatory standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and share best practices with colleagues.
• Provide guidance and support to patients' families and caregivers, instilling confidence in their ability to assist in the patient's recovery journey.
• Meet productivity goals and contribute to the overall success of the clinic through diligent tracking of metrics and patient feedback.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information in an understandable way.
• Competence in word processing and computer tasks are essential for maintaining patient records.
• Ability to build trustful relationships with patients and their families, fostering a supportive environment conducive to recovery.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist.

Compensation and Benefits

Amber's Physical Therapy LLC offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
