Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patient's trauma histories and establish appropriate therapeutic strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at recovery and resilience, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate progress and healing.

• Engage in ongoing collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with the knowledge to navigate their healing journeys effectively.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights related to trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including children, adults, and families dealing with the aftermath of specific traumatic experiences. Our therapists are deeply attuned to the complex emotional needs of these clients, working diligently to provide care that respects their experiences and promotes healing.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida is required.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment approaches, and resilience-building strategies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications is necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
