Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and meet with clients to discuss their personal goals, preferences, and the array of options available for mental health care.

• Create and continually modify individualized care plans that align with clients' unique circumstances, including their educational backgrounds, personal aspirations, and current mental health status.
\n
• Collaborate with a diverse team including physicians, psychologists, and occupational therapists to design and implement rehabilitation programs tailored to client needs.
\n
• Document and maintain thorough case files for each client, including personal information, mental health history, insurance details, and progress notes.
\n
• Monitor client progress meticulously, assessing the effectiveness of care plans and adjusting strategies as necessary to promote goal attainment.
\n
• Stay in touch with clients actively engaging in job training and placement programs and address any challenges they face throughout the process.
\n
• Facilitate communication with clients' families to enhance support systems and client success.
\n
• Assess client needs comprehensively, producing timely and insightful reports to guide treatment planning and resource recommendations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our center, you will primarily serve adults experiencing various mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and other psychological issues. Your work will significantly impact their journey towards recovery, allowing them to resist and manage their mental health concerns effectively in their daily lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is mandatory.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State.

• Experienced working directly with clients who have mental health/mood disorders in either residential or outpatient settings.

• Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating a firm commitment to enhance the lives of those in need.

• Proficient in practices such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
