Community Care Physicians is excited to invite applications for a dedicated Full-Time Physician Assistant specializing in Pain Management at our surgical center located in the scenic town of Ossining, New York. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients suffering from chronic pain conditions. Emphasizing patient safety and comfort, the Physician Assistant will utilize their clinical expertise to independently evaluate patients, coordinate treatment plans, and enhance the overall patient experience.

Work Environment

You will be based onsite at our state-of-the-art surgical center in Ossining, which is equipped with the latest medical technologies and designed to facilitate comprehensive pain management procedures. Our team-oriented atmosphere fosters close collaboration with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care. The role offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with various pain conditions, ensuring that individual assessments lead to accurate diagnoses.
• Order and interpret necessary imaging studies to support patient evaluations and treatment plans.
• Prescribe physical therapy, non-narcotic medications, and other treatments tailored to each patient's needs.
• Develop and maintain detailed care plans, documenting each patient’s progression in their medical records.
• Schedule and perform interventional procedures while ensuring that pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care standards are met.
• Engage with patients to address their concerns, providing information and support throughout their pain management journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment strategies and improve care delivery processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients we serve often struggle with chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, back pain, fibromyalgia, and sports-related injuries. Our focus is to understand their unique experiences and provide tailored interventions to enhance their quality of life. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field is required.
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant is mandatory.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive physical examinations and formulating differential diagnoses.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the medical team.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and education in pain management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in pain management or related fields, is preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document patient care efficiently.
• Familiarity with interventional pain management techniques and non-invasive treatment options is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
