Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, and assessing pain levels to determine appropriate treatment protocols.
• Order and interpret imaging studies and diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop individualized care plans that may include prescribing non-narcotic medications, recommending physical therapy, and scheduling interventions.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multi-faceted approach to patient care.
• Document all patient interactions, including assessments, treatment plans, and patient progress, to maintain accurate and updated healthcare records.
• Address patient concerns and questions, providing education on treatment options and pain management strategies.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case reviews, share insights, and explore advancements in pain management practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant in this role will primarily work with patients experiencing chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to arthritis, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, and post-operative pain. Qualifications
