Work Environment

This full-time position will be performed onsite, allowing the Nurse Practitioner to engage directly with patients in a concierge medicine setting. The role includes house calls, providing you with the unique opportunity to deliver care in the comfort of our patients’ homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations to assess patient conditions effectively.
• Prescribe, manage, and monitor both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments for various pain conditions, including chronic and acute pain scenarios.
• Educate and counsel patients about their pain management goals, treatment options, compliance with prescribed regimens, and potential medication side effects.
• Develop and implement individualized pain management plans while consulting with physicians to determine the most suitable treatment strategies.
• Utilize strong clinical assessment skills to evaluate pain disorders accurately, employing diagnostic tests to identify underlying issues.
• Execute procedural interventions, including nerve blocks, spinal injections, and pain pumps to address complex pain conditions.
• Foster open and effective communication with patients, empowering them with knowledge and support regarding their treatment journey.

You will primarily work with patients experiencing chronic pain, which significantly impacts their daily lives and overall well-being. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and a current, valid New York State Nurse Practitioner license are mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in pain management or a related clinical field is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pain disorders, treatment modalities, and best practices in pain management.
• Demonstrated ability to perform advanced clinical assessments and diagnostics pertinent to pain management.
• Proficiency in prescribing medication as per treatment guidelines and conducting assessments for safe prescribing practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience conducting procedures such as nerve blocks and spinal injections is highly valued.
• Familiarity with the latest advancements in pain management therapies and technologies.
• Experience in educating patients and their families regarding pain management options and best practices.

• The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 150,000 to 160,000 annually.
