Our goal is to support individuals recovering from substance use disorders through evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Work Environment\n

This position offers a flexible and supportive work setting through a telehealth platform, allowing you to connect with patients from the comfort of your home while providing crucial mental health services. You will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. This structure promotes work-life balance while ensuring you remain intimately connected to the recovery journeys of your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique needs and challenges of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions focused on motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to empower clients toward recovery.

• Lead engaging group therapy sessions that foster community and shared learning among individuals on similar recovery journeys.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive care approach for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support during acute substance-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and effective response.

• Educate clients and their family members about addiction, recovery techniques, and available community resources to equip them on their path to health.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record system for streamlined record-keeping.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continued professional development to enhance personal and communal competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on supporting individuals grappling with substance use disorders, catering to a broad demographic that includes adolescents, adults, and their families. Each day, you will encounter clients facing a variety of challenges as they navigate the complexities of addiction recovery. By leveraging therapeutic techniques and supportive interventions, you will aid them in achieving their recovery goals and rebuilding their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• A strong understanding of substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, along with a commitment to recovery-oriented care practices.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy specifically within the context of addiction treatment.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a non-judgmental empathetic approach.

• Capacity to maintain professional boundaries while adhering to ethical guidelines and ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with related computer applications.

• Ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, complemented by bonuses and a sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates.
