This position is located in McMinnville, Oregon, but you will operate in a fully remote setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive admission assessments for new patients, ensuring a friendly and professional onboarding experience.

• Participate actively in the clinical team’s weekly meetings, where treatment goals are collaboratively defined and adjusted based on patient progress.

• Perform utilization reviews by providing pertinent clinical information to insurance companies, facilitating the authorization process for treatment.
\n
• Respond promptly to family members and support systems, returning all communications within a maximum of 2 hours during business hours and 24 hours outside of business hours.
\n
• Coordinate with various departments, including Utilization Review and Business Departments, to ensure a seamless integration of patient care and financial authorization.
\n
• Initiate discharge planning from the first day of admission, including setting up follow-up appointments and ensuring patients and their families understand their aftercare plans.
\n
• Maintain a strong clinical presence during crises, offering support to staff and patients, and ensuring high-quality treatment at all times.
\n
• Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation is completed during each patient session, adhering to regulatory and organizational standards.
\n
• Build therapeutic alliances with patients and their families, conducting assessments of risk for self-harm or harm to others.
\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution (MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).

• An independent license to practice in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.

• Strong skills in managing a diverse patient caseload and collaborating with multiple providers and support teams.

• Proficient electronic communication skills, particularly in electronic medical record systems, to enhance patient interaction and documentation processes.
