This role offers the flexibility of remote work while being part of a collaborative team that forms part of our community health clinic. Our facility is open Monday through Saturday, ensuring that we meet the varying needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, tailoring your approach based on the unique needs of each client.

• Delivering graduate-level clinical social work and counseling interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities.

• Triaging care to ensure appropriate interventions and referrals are made, enhancing the overall treatment process for clients.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams via documentation and meetings to discuss treatment progress and adjustments in care plans, facilitating effective communication among staff.

• Providing case management services, which involve consulting with hospital and community programs to develop comprehensive care plans for your assigned patients.

• Ensuring the timely and ethical completion of all documentation per departmental expectations, adhering to legal and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve encompass a wide demographic, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our center emphasizes a holistic approach, addressing the psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of each individual, thereby enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Experience\n

We are looking for professionals who have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health. Familiarity with outpatient therapy techniques and methodologies is highly desirable. Flexibility to work two to four sessions per week is preferred, with the option to extend to 40 hours based on caseload and client needs.
