Person-centered Psychology Services is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team remotely. In this critical role, you will provide specialized mental health care tailored for individuals impacted by trauma. Work Environment\n

This position is full-time and can be performed remotely, allowing flexibility while ensuring that you can meet the needs of your patients effectively. While your primary work hours will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility in scheduling may be needed based on individual patient requirements. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique history and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the recovery goals of each individual.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Offer crisis intervention and support during emergency situations related to trauma, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
\n
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to enhance the patient care continuum.
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development and case consultations to stay informed about advancements in trauma therapy.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources for support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population is primarily composed of individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. As a therapist, you will provide care for adults and adolescents facing challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression resulting from traumatic experiences. Your work will significantly impact their journeys to recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-impacted clients is preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, demonstrating a compassionate and empathetic approach.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and applicable computer software.
\n
• Must possess the capability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient settings specifically focused on trauma recovery.

• In-depth knowledge of various evidence-based treatment approaches for trauma cases.

• Prior involvement in case consultations and team-based decision-making regarding patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
