Work Environment\n

This role is set within a supportive remote work environment, allowing our Mental Health Counselors to balance their professional responsibilities with personal commitments effectively. You will have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while remaining connected to an enthusiastic and collaborative team. Our normal operating hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, facilitating a healthy work-life balance for our employees.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate with each client to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, goals, and preferences based on their assessments.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, with a focus on methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), fostering transformative experiences for clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them on their healing journeys.

• Continuously monitor client progress through regular check-ins and adjust treatment plans according to evolving needs and feedback.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and medical professionals to provide a cohesive and integrated care approach for our clients, sharing insights and recommendations as necessary.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advances in mental health treatment, applying new insights to enhance therapeutic approaches and outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client sessions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to elevate clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mental health issues, ensuring their voices are heard in their treatment journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Therapist will primarily focus on individuals suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with a diverse clientele, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet the distinct cultural, social, and personal needs of each client. Your expertise in navigating the complexities of mood disorders will be essential in guiding clients through their challenges and towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, with the capacity to engage collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• A proven track record of achieving positive outcomes in treating clients with mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
