Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day activities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate each patient's trauma history and guide treatment approaches tailored to individual needs.

• Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma and equip them with effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated and effective care for each patient.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and heard during critical times.

• Educating clients and their families regarding trauma responses and available resources, empowering them with knowledge for understanding and recovery.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCPC in the state of Illinois.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and an ability to apply trauma-informed treatment modalities effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to treatment.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, individuals with a strong foundation in trauma-focused therapies and interventions, as well as those who have experience working within a community health setting, will find success in this position. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a readiness to engage in continuous professional development are also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, along with guaranteed pay and opportunities for bonuses. Benefits include:
