Work Environment

This position is an onsite role primarily focused on home care, allowing you to deliver personalized treatment to patients in the comfort of their own residences. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions through evidence-based practices and personalized therapy plans.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as exercise, manual therapy, and specialized equipment to relieve pain and enhance mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that detail specific therapeutic goals, continuously monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment protocols, and outcomes accurately to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques, self-care strategies, and safe use of assistive devices to promote independence and recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and seminars to stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on an extensive array of patients, from pediatric to geriatric, who are dealing with diverse conditions such as post-surgical recovery, musculoskeletal disorders, neurological issues, and rehabilitative care following injury. You will be instrumental in assisting patients at varying levels of functional ability, tailoring your approach to their unique challenges and aspirations.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in California.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate treatment plans and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Strong computer skills for documentation and scheduling.
• A flexible and adaptable mindset, capable of thriving in a dynamic home care setting.

Preferred Experience
