Our digital tools include Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) to streamline documentation and facilitate team collaboration effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify mental health issues, preferences, and treatment needs, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on the findings from client assessments and best practices in mental health care.
• Deliver individual counseling sessions aimed at addressing clients' unique emotional and psychological challenges and empowering them to develop coping strategies.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and family counseling as required, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for shared healing.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and alignment with evolving client needs.
• Meticulously document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric staff, to create a comprehensive care approach for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in training that informs the latest evidence-based practices and therapeutic methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Bournewood Psychotherapy Services, you will primarily work with a diverse client base including individuals, couples, and families experiencing a wide array of mental health issues. This may range from anxiety and depression to more severe psychological disorders. Your role is crucial not just in providing therapy, but in building lasting therapeutic relationships that foster trust and encourage client resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• Must possess a valid state license to practice as a mental health counselor in Washington.
• A minimum of two years of practical experience in the field of mental health counseling is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A demonstrated capacity for working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
