Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions and assessments from the comfort of your own home while maintaining our high standards of care. Our outpatient office is equipped with modern telehealth technology to ensure effective communication and engagement with patients. The position involves a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required depending on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, meticulously evaluating each patient's trauma background to identify effective treatment approaches.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive, integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during emergencies related to trauma.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards to track patient progress and treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on patients who have experienced varying degrees of trauma. This includes individuals diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid and current license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
