This position will be primarily remote, enabling our therapists to offer critical in-home therapy and outreach services. Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions, either in client homes or through virtual platforms, depending on client needs and preferences.

  Implement evidence-based interventions aimed at enhancing coping skills, managing anger, and reducing high-risk behaviors, such as self-injury (SIB) and physical aggression.

  Provide tailored support to youth and caregivers to bolster their decision-making abilities when faced with in-home behavioral challenges, thereby improving family dynamics.

  Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including Child Family Treatment Teams, to ensure integrated care plans and cohesive support for families.

  Maintain thorough and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

  Participate in ongoing meetings and contribute recommendations based on client progress and needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus is on children and teens aged 3 to 20 with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Therapists will work directly with these young individuals to navigate their unique challenges and foster resilience, while also providing essential support to their primary caregivers.

Qualifications\n

  A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related discipline is required.

  Possession of an active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory.

• \n

  Demonstrated ability to provide positive behavior support in therapeutic settings.

  Experience working with children and teens, particularly those aged 3-20 with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is highly preferred.

  A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are necessary for potential home visits.

  Candidates must successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience\n

While at least two years of experience in a therapeutic setting is required, candidates with prior experience specifically addressing the needs of youth with developmental disabilities and an understanding of effectively working with diverse family structures will be prioritized.

Compensation and Benefits\n
