Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality individual counseling sessions aimed at improving the mental well-being of clients. Use evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to meet individual needs.

• Provide guidance and support to clients regarding transportation, helping them explore options for getting to appointments and teaching them to navigate public transport.
\n
• Manage essential household supplies and assist clients in procuring necessary items, ensuring they have what they need to maintain a stable living environment.
\n
• Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements associated with mental health services. Maintain compliance with licensing protocols and ensure that all documentation is correctly completed and submitted on time.

• Collaborate effectively with team members. Share insights and communicate client updates promptly to align strategies for optimal client outcomes.
\n
• Document all interactions accurately, including progress notes and activity reports, ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
\n
• Support clients in daily living skills, including shopping and meal preparation, fostering independence and self-sufficiency.
\n
• Monitor clients’ mental and emotional states, reporting key observations, and implementing agency safety protocols effectively.
\n
• Assist clients with medication management, providing timely reminders, facilitating refills, and ensuring adherence as directed.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with a diverse range of individuals, including youths facing mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• A current and valid licensure as LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in California. Please note that we cannot accept applicants with an associate license, as they are not billable through Medicare.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, and experience using electronic records systems.
\n
• A proven ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
