Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate each patient’s trauma history, ensuring individualized treatment approaches are effective.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans targeting trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based methods.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist clients in their healing journeys.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary care that addresses all aspects of a patient’s well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and resources during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping skills, and available community resources, empowering them throughout the healing process.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and clinical team meetings, contributing to the continuous development of trauma-informed practices.

• Stay current with advancements in trauma therapy and incorporate best practices into your treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base primarily consists of individuals adversely affected by traumatic experiences, who may present with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly with trauma-related disorders.

• A comprehensive understanding of trauma-related conditions and a strong capability in using trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-demand situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications, facilitating efficient documentation and patient management.

• A commitment to collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, familiarity with community resources, and a specialization in resilience-building strategies will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
