Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Special Education Program Mental Health Team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, identifying their individual needs and developing tailored intervention strategies.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving emotional well-being and fostering successful integration into the educational environment.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address issues related to autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and trauma.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to provide comprehensive support that addresses all aspects of a child's development.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support during acute mental health emergencies.
• Deliver psychoeducation to students and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mental health challenges and available resources.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation that adheres to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Participate in continuous professional development through team meetings, case discussions, and staff training activities.
• Stay informed regarding current laws, regulations, and best practices in mental health and education sectors.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus on a diverse population of students facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your expertise will support children with special needs, particularly those with ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and behavioral disorders, all underpinned by trauma-informed care principles. Your contributions will directly influence their academic and social success, fostering a nurturing and enriched environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Texas.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic interventions, and trauma-informed care models.
• Proven ability in conducting assessments, creating diagnoses, and formulating actionable treatment plans.
• Experience in providing therapy to individuals and groups, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Strong crisis intervention capabilities, maintaining composure in high-stress circumstances.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical standards and professional boundaries.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and effective computer skills.
• A collaborative mindset, ready to engage with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While the position requires a foundational level of experience, candidates with a background in educational settings or specialized training in intervention techniques for youth mental health will find their skills particularly advantageous. Familiarity with community outreach and support services is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
