Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, incorporating psychosocial assessments, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Collaborate with students to design individualized treatment approaches based on their unique goals, challenges, and cultural background.
• Deliver a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including CBT, DBT, and solution-focused brief therapy, in various formats such as individual, couple, family, and group settings.
• Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring timely access to care for students experiencing acute distress.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and discharge summaries, adhering to regulatory and clinic standards.
• Educate students and their families on mental health management, empowering them with skills and strategies to cope effectively with challenges.
• Work closely within a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, making timely adjustments to care plans as needed.
• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and advancements in mental health to enhance clinical practice and treatment outcomes.
• Uphold professional ethics and maintain the confidentiality of all patient interactions consistently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily work with children and adolescents in a school setting. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits
