Providence Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Telehealth Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our innovative team. The salary range for this role is competitive, between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, depending on your experience and caseload.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to create tailored treatment plans for diverse clients.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing a variety of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions, as well as group therapy sessions, while adapting your approach based on individual client needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate holistic care and optimize client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and progress notes in alignment with ethical guidelines and legal standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops and staying informed about current research in mental health practices.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, preferably in a telehealth setting, is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various therapeutic techniques, particularly in areas such as trauma, family issues, or psychological disorders.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a team-based clinical environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Specialization in areas including trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, or couples therapy is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms.
