Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine client needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific concerns.
• Provide evidence-based individual, couples, and family therapy, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
• Engage in collaborative care by connecting with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create a holistic treatment approach for clients.
• Maintain precise and secure documentation of client sessions and treatment plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in mental health counseling through ongoing education, workshops, and participation in professional organizations.
• Actively contribute to team meetings and training sessions, fostering a culture of learning and cooperation within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Blended Healing, our clients encompass a diverse demographic, including individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, and mental health issues. Counselors will have the opportunity to work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and much more. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, with a strong adherence to ethical standards and state regulations.
• Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic services in an outpatient setting, preferably through telehealth.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and nurture trusting client relationships.
• A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to engage with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care.
• A strong dedication to continuous professional development and the willingness to adapt to new challenges.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working with children, adolescents, or underserved populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies to streamline patient care.
• Specialized training in specific therapeutic approaches or certifications in mental health practices.
