Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate client mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy tailored to the client's needs.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive environment conducive to recovery.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and client records, adhering to legal standards and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to ensure a holistic approach to client's mental and emotional well-being.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including training workshops, to stay informed about the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Elevance, you will be working with a wide range of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, substance misuse, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• A minimum of three years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is essential.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
