Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs based on thorough assessments.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic and well-rounded care for all clients.
• Maintain detailed documentation and clinical records, adhering strictly to legal standards and ethical guidelines in the practice of counseling.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay abreast of current trends, research, and advancements in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population you will serve is diverse, including individuals facing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma recovery. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Possess a current and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, providing a foundation for effective client interactions.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and rapport with a varied clientele.
• Experience working collaboratively with healthcare teams, promoting a holistic approach to client care.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other relevant software.
