Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Red Oak Mental Healthcare, you will:

• Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on fostering connection among clients, providing a safe space for sharing experiences and learning from one another.
• Conduct individual therapy sessions, offering personalized and empathetic counseling to help clients understand and navigate their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
• Collaboratively develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals, integrating insights gained from assessments and feedback.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly using established assessment tools and methodologies, ensuring treatment remains effective and relevant.
• Work cohesively with a multidisciplinary team, engaging in regular communication and collaboration to optimize care and address complex client cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with young adults facing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, utilizing both holistic and evidence-based approaches. Your role will be critical in promoting mental wellness, resilience, and recovery among this demographic, as you guide them through individual and collective obstacles.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with a current LPC license in Texas. As a qualified candidate, you should have a solid understanding of mental health practices and principles, as well as the ability to form trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome newly licensed candidates, experience working with young adults in outpatient settings, particularly within telehealth platforms, is highly advantageous. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or similar modalities, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Red Oak Mental Healthcare offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
