Calm Composure Counseling P.C. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team in Houston, Texas. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients with sensitivity, establishing positive working relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients to track progress, discuss upcoming appointments, and facilitate timely discharge as needed.
• Create, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies.
• Execute intake assessments that accurately capture the presenting issues of each client.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, employing sound therapeutic techniques appropriate to each client's situation.
• Engage in individual supervision to support professional development and address case management challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integration of care and holistic support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field.
• Current and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential, with no restrictions on practice.
• Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.
• Proficient in using technology and computer systems for documentation and scheduling, including Excel, RMS systems, and Outlook.
• Experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
• Comfortable conducting intake assessments with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Experience

• Background in supporting diverse populations, particularly within the Houston community.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities strongly preferred.
• Experience in crisis intervention and management.
