Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to create personalized therapy plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques.
• Maintain thorough and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, drawing on diverse perspectives to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health through ongoing professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a counselor, you will work primarily with individuals and families experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Our client base often lacks access to traditional methods of psychological support, which underscores the vital need for competent and compassionate care. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or telehealth setting.
• Strong understanding and adherence to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards within the counseling profession.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and teletherapy platforms to facilitate client management and documentation.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster rapport with a diverse population of clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team, contributing to holistic client care.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in clinical areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance abuse counseling.

• An attractive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with your experience and caseload availability.
