Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories, strengths, and needs.

• Design, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans targeting trauma recovery and personal growth.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate client healing.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions focused on processing trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.
\n
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, to provide integrated care tailored to each client's journey.

• Deliver crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive the immediate support they need.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous learning opportunities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance the effectiveness of treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our practice is on individuals who are navigating the complexities of trauma recovery. Our clients often face challenges stemming from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will provide crucial support to these individuals, helping them develop effective coping strategies and resilience-building skills necessary for their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Strong foundational understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, demonstrating a deep commitment to client welfare.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to mental health practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is strongly preferred.

• Experience with crisis intervention and support techniques would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
