Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients' trauma histories and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving trauma recovery, resilience, and emotional stability.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Deliver high-quality individual and group therapy sessions that help clients process traumatic experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during patient emergencies related to trauma.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development sessions focusing on trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated dissociative disorders. You will work collaboratively with clients to understand their unique experiences and challenges and guide them through their recovery journey. Your expertise will be vital in helping clients reconstruct their narratives and reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
