Work Environment

This position is offered onsite within our Home Care setting, allowing our physical therapists to work directly with patients in their residences across West Palm Beach. The work environment fosters collaboration, and communication is key. You will interface with a variety of healthcare professionals, including physicians and interdisciplinary teams, to provide cohesive and comprehensive care. This position typically involves a structured 40-hour work week, with variable weekends as needed to meet patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patients to establish appropriate and individualized treatment plans that address functional limitations and disabilities.
• Provide thorough consultations to healthcare providers regarding a patient's ongoing care requirements and progress.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain verbal and written communication with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives, program development, and marketing efforts, as well as oversee PTA/aide/student supervision.
• Engage in continuous professional development through self-study, in-services, and continuing education programs to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Atlantic Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population, focusing primarily on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency with word processing and electronic medical record systems.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, particularly in home care or outpatient settings. Familiarity with physical therapy methodologies and tools relevant to patient assessments and treatment planning is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
