Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our hospital facility in Sun Valley, surrounded by the scenic beauty of Nevada. Key Responsibilities

• Engage in a 3-week rotation schedule encompassing one week of outpatient care, one week of inpatient services, and one week dedicated to post-procedure follow-ups.

• Manage a caseload of 8 to 17 patients daily when on inpatient duty, which includes conducting rounds, performing new consultations, and following up on existing referrals.

• Conduct both independent and shared patient visits, with an emphasis on virtual consultations where you will assess and treat patients remotely. The expected volume is approximately 8-10 patients in the independent clinic and 8-12 in shared visits, focusing on both precautionary and ongoing health management.

• Ensure adherence to all Joint Commission standards while providing care, which includes maintaining cultural sensitivity, patient rights advocacy, and ethical treatment practices.

• Evaluate and treat patients for a variety of health concerns, and perform comprehensive physical examinations to assess both normal and abnormal clinical findings.

• Order, interpret, and evaluate necessary diagnostic studies as needed for patient management, and collect specimens for routine lab tests.

• Oversee medication management, including the ordering of physical, occupational, and respiratory therapies, and ensure proper patient consent protocols are followed.

• Assist in hospital admission processes and maintain accurate medical documentation and follow-up on patient care plans.

• Participate in research initiatives as guided by supervising physicians, including enrollment in investigational studies as appropriate.

• Provide assistance in the operating room under physician supervision after attaining necessary competencies.

You will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals with acute and chronic conditions specific to the specialty of interventional radiology. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Physician Assistant.

• Current certification and licensing appropriate for practice in Nevada.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum experience required is one year, candidates with prior experience in outpatient radiology or interventional radiology will be favored. Familiarity with electronic medical records and telehealth platforms is also advantageous, enhancing efficiency in patient interactions.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
