Sierra Orthopedic Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in guiding patients through their recovery journeys, focusing on enhancing their mobility and overall quality of life. The clinic is state-of-the-art, encompassing over 5,000 square feet of advanced rehabilitation space tailored for orthopedic recovery, including specialized areas for sports medicine.

Work Environment

Your work setting will be primarily onsite at our rehabilitation center, where you will collaborate closely with two other experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our facility is designed to foster rehabilitation growth, equipped with cutting-edge therapeutic equipment and comfortable rehabilitation spaces. You will operate within a full-time schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a work-life balance that supports personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans that address specific objectives.
• Manage a caseload of clients efficiently, allowing for one-on-one treatment sessions focused on personalized care.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and modalities to improve patients' pain levels and range of motion, contributing to their overall rehabilitation.
• Design and implement effective exercise protocols that align with each patient's physical condition and recovery goals.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes and feedback.
• Foster strong patient relationships, instilling motivation and confidence to maximize their rehabilitation efforts.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care and recovery.
• Encourage patients to adopt healthy lifestyle choices that enhance their overall wellbeing, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize advanced software systems, including WebPT EMR, to maintain accurate documentation of patient care services and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse range of patients, predominantly individuals with private medical insurance seeking orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. Your expertise will guide them as they navigate their physical therapy journeys, making measurable improvements that significantly enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in the field.
• A valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, ensuring compliance with all local regulations.
• Maintain a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license, reflecting your commitment to ethical practice.
• Proven experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is advantageous, showcasing your effectiveness in this specialized area of therapy.
• Exceptional manual therapy and exercise protocol skills are essential to delivering quality patient care.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR Software or similar systems is preferred, as efficient record-keeping is crucial for patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a private practice setting with a focus on sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health and wellbeing.
