Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ mental health needs through interviews, observations, and standardized assessment tools.
• Develop, implement, and continuously refine personalized treatment plans that address the unique challenges faced by each student.
• Provide evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, special education staff, and school psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in social work and educational psychology.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily work with children and adolescents in a school setting, addressing a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and interpersonal conflicts. These young clients require compassionate and effective intervention strategies to enhance their educational success and emotional well-being. By providing support within the familiar context of their school environment, you will empower students to navigate their social and emotional challenges more effectively.

Qualifications

• Current and active LCSW license in the state of Washington.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical counseling, particularly with children and adolescents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and educational professionals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documentation and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in school settings or with teenagers.
• Familiarity with school-based mental health programs and resources.
• Proficient with telehealth technologies and virtual counseling platforms.
• Knowledge of community resources available for youth mental health.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
