Key Responsibilities\n

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on established best practices for each diagnosed condition, ensuring a tailored approach for diverse client needs.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic models, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavior modification, and brief interventions, to guide effective therapy sessions.

• Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants, fostering their professional development and enhancing the quality of care provided.

• Develop collaborative treatment strategies with other professionals and community organizations to create a comprehensive support system for clients.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations by assessing client needs, coordinating necessary resources, and ensuring immediate therapeutic support.

• Conduct initial assessments and diagnosis using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM V), followed by comprehensive intake sessions.

• Engage in ongoing education and training initiatives for team members and the community, ensuring the dissemination of knowledge related to mental health issues.

• Efficiently manage a diverse caseload while maintaining accurate electronic medical records, streamlining client documentation to minimize administrative burdens.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who are often mothers and members of marginalized communities, addressing complex mental health issues and barriers to care. Your understanding and knowledge of socioeconomic determinants will enable you to provide empathetic and effective support to those you serve. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of an independent license in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) is mandatory for this position.
