As a remote position based in Fremont, California, you will join a diverse and compassionate team that values trauma-informed principles in every aspect of care. Our organization emphasizes flexibility, ensuring that you have a structured yet adaptable work schedule, predominantly from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some flexibility may be required to accommodate the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' backgrounds and develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans focused on resilience-building and trauma recovery, utilizing therapeutic modalities that resonate with each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Provide ongoing support through crisis intervention, offering immediate assistance and effective coping strategies during trauma-related emergencies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and specialists to create an integrated care plan that addresses the comprehensive needs of each patient.

• Educate patients and families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation following ethical and legal guidelines in compliance with health regulations.

• Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings to further enhance professional development and ensure alignment on treatment objectives.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients primarily include individuals grappling with traumatic experiences, including survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and other significant adverse life events. Your role will center around understanding the complex dynamics of trauma and supporting diverse clients as they work towards restoring their sense of self and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of California is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly within trauma-related contexts.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is vital for success in this role.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to maintain a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in all interactions.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and common computer applications is required.

• An ability to work collaboratively across a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
