Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for adaptable work arrangements while still fostering a strong sense of community within our therapist team. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff. Together, we ensure that clients receive integrated and cohesive care tailored to their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and mental health status, guiding treatment decisions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address addiction and any co-occurring mental health disorders, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Facilitate engaging and supportive individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methods to drive recovery and personal insight.
• Collaborate actively with the treatment team to provide integrated care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client wellbeing.
• Support and educate clients' families to foster their involvement and understanding of the recovery process, enhancing the family unit’s role in treatment.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring that client records are accurate and up-to-date.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals struggling with substance use disorders, along with those facing related mental health challenges. This population often requires sensitive, empathetic care tailored to their complex needs and varied backgrounds. Your ability to build rapport and trust will be essential in helping clients navigate their recovery pathways.

Qualifications

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD is required.
• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• Demonstrated specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is highly valued.
• Strong familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Excellent therapeutic and counseling skills, with an ability to inspire and motivate clients toward their recovery goals.
• Possess exceptional communication and collaboration skills, fostering teamwork within a remote setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in community mental health settings or substance abuse treatment facilities.
• Previous experience with telehealth delivery methods, enhancing client engagement through virtual means.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and client management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
