Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through remote consultations, documenting client histories and treatment progress meticulously.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the needs of patients, whether they are individuals, couples, families, or groups.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions using evidence-based methods while actively engaging clients in meaningful dialogue that fosters personal growth.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust interventions as necessary based on feedback or changes in their mental health condition.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care and seamless referrals.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families to empower them in managing mental health challenges effectively.

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date electronic health records for each client, utilizing electronic health record systems like AVATAR.

• Stay abreast of advances in mental health research and integrate best practices as recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele consists of individuals grappling with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. As a mental health counselor at Mindsight, you will be instrumental in guiding clients of diverse backgrounds, providing tailored interventions that respect their cultural and personal narratives. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey, validated by passing scores on relevant examinations (e.g., NCE or NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with clients, showcasing exceptional communication skills and emotional intelligence.

• Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth technologies to enhance client interactions and data documentation.

Preferred Experience\n
