Work Environment

This is an onsite role within our rehabilitation facility, promoting collaborative efforts among healthcare providers. You will work alongside two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, fostering an environment where team collaboration enhances patient outcomes. Our practice hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Manage a patient load averaging one patient per hour, ensuring qualitative engagement and interaction.
• Develop comprehensive care plans utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques aimed at increasing mobility and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients on treatment modalities, lifestyle adjustments, and preventative care strategies.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to refine care approaches.
• Encourage patients to set personal goals and support them in sustaining their motivation throughout the treatment process.
• Utilize EMR software like WebPT for accurate patient documentation and progress tracking.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals with a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our practice primarily caters to patients with private medical insurance, allowing for personalized and focused care. By employing evidence-based practices, you will empower patients to minimize reliance on medications and explore non-surgical treatment alternatives.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is required.
• An active California Physical Therapist license, free of any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to design effective exercise regimens.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software, including WebPT, is beneficial for efficient practice management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a physical therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with patients and team members.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and remaining abreast of advancements in therapy techniques and treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
