Work Environment

This onsite role will be situated within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, equipped with cutting-edge technology and resources to support innovative treatment practices. Our team works collaboratively in a dynamic environment, where open communication and teamwork are paramount to achieving optimal patient care and organizational success. We operate primarily on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 3 pm to 7 pm on weekdays, with a shorter day on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, employing standardized screening and evaluation tools to determine rehabilitation needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Utilize a range of physical therapy modalities and techniques to treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities effectively.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers through consultations and training sessions, ensuring a clear understanding of treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to regulatory and facility standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing staff, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides, offering guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through attending workshops, seminars, and training to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of industry advancements.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, contributing to enhanced service delivery and patient satisfaction.
• Assist with operational management tasks as needed, including equipment usage, supply inventory, and departmental scheduling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing therapy programs that respond not only to physical needs but also to the personal goals of each patient, with an emphasis on holistic recovery processes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state Physical Therapist license.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in rehabilitation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, walking, and manual dexterity as required by the role.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation facility or similar healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in working with a diverse patient demographic.
• Participation in interdisciplinary care teams to foster comprehensive patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 - 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a robust benefits package. Benefits include:
