Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain an understanding of each patient’s unique trauma history and treatment needs.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans focused on promoting resilience and recovery from trauma.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address and mitigate clients' symptoms.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through their processing of trauma and equipping them with sustainable coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support during emergencies related to trauma, utilizing your skills to de-escalate high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available within and outside our organization.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, contributing to high-quality continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals affected by trauma, including those suffering from PTSD and other trauma-related disorders. You will work closely with adult patients who are often seeking to rebuild their lives after experiencing significant distressing events. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and the therapy modalities effective in their treatment.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to care.

• The ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging or high-stress situations, providing steady support for clients in crisis.

• Proficiency using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to enhance patient care and documentation.

• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n
