Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and develop comprehensive evaluations for clients to determine effective treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
• Provide therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices, which may include but are not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and local legal requirements while safeguarding client confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending relevant workshops and educational opportunities to stay current with the latest practices in the mental health field.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, partnering with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to deliver comprehensive care and support.
• Participate in regular team meetings to coordinate care and share insights, fostering an environment of collective knowledge and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. Your work will involve individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing various mental health concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. Candidates with a Master's or Doctoral degree will be preferred.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent, in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in providing counseling services is necessary.
• A strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations regarding counseling practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in trauma-informed care, family therapy, or substance abuse counseling is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
