Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth initial assessments and evaluations to accurately understand each client's mental health status and unique needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the goals and requirements of clients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Provide engaging, solution-focused individual therapy sessions predominantly for adult clients through virtual platforms.
• Facilitate teletherapy sessions that adhere to established industry standards and foster effective therapeutic relationships.
• Offer crisis intervention as necessary, displaying calmness and efficacy in high-pressure situations to ensure client safety.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to remain knowledgeable about the latest mental health trends and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adults dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and relationship challenges. Our commitment to cultural competence means understanding and addressing the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clients, ensuring that all individuals feel heard and respected throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A relevant master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients quickly.
• A demonstrated capacity for empathy, active listening, and non-judgmental support in client interactions.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to manage a full caseload efficiently.
• No disciplinary actions on licensure history.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with teletherapy is highly valued, along with familiarity with digital therapy tools and platforms.
• Prior work in a community health setting is a significant asset as it demonstrates the ability to meet the needs of diverse populations.
• A background in trauma-informed care practices is a plus.
