Work Environment

This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients via teletherapy while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents, ensuring that each assessment is tailored to the unique circumstances of the individual.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that align with developmental stages and family dynamics, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Implement therapeutic strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play therapy techniques to address a range of mental health disorders.
• Conduct family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with the tools and strategies to support their children effectively.
• Coordination with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to each patient's treatment plan, promoting collaboration across all disciplines.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies involving young clients, ensuring safety and support.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment paths, while providing guidance on accessible community resources.
• Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal guidelines.
• Actively participate in team-based discussions and case consultations to ensure high-quality care delivery.
• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and emerging methodologies in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents dealing with varying mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and trauma. Your expertise will play a crucial role in their healing process, providing them with necessary coping skills and therapeutic support that encourages recovery and growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly with children and adolescents.
• Strong familiarity with child and adolescent mental health disorders, as well as evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to provide individual and family therapy effectively, showing empathy and understanding of the issues faced by clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling a child-centered approach for building trust with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage documentation efficiently.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary team settings, contributing to integrated care processes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
