Blaze Health is actively seeking a Full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist, specifically a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), to join our dedicated team. Our work hours are primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate the needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique context, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to meet the diverse needs of individuals, families, and groups.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that not only address specific mental health concerns but also promote resilience and personal growth.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure that care is comprehensive and coordinated.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, working effectively under pressure to maintain client safety.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources that could assist them.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.

• Participate in case conferences, training sessions focused on cultural competency, and other team meetings to enhance professional knowledge and service delivery.

• Stay updated on current literature and best practices in mental health therapy to continually improve therapy outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• A strong understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methods, and the significance of cultural competence within therapeutic settings.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy sessions using culturally responsive approaches.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills with the ability to perform calmly in challenging situations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated capacity to forge trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.
\n
• A commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and emotional boundaries in therapeutic relationships.

• The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to enhance treatment outcomes for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a community health setting or similar environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
