This is a full-time, remote position offering a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 80,000. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions and, when appropriate, group therapy sessions, both in-home and at our outpatient center.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions to facilitate anger management, coping strategies, and social skills training while working to minimize high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) and physical aggression.
\n
• Assist youth and caregivers in developing decision-making skills to effectively manage behavioral challenges within the home environment.
\n
• Engage in collaborative discussions with the Child Family Treatment Team and allied professionals to coordinate care and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
\n
• Ensure that all documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, is completed accurately and submitted on time.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings and contribute thoughtful recommendations based on your observations and interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve children aged 3-20 who are experiencing developmental disabilities and various intellectual challenges. You will have the unique opportunity to engage with a diverse group of clients, each with their own specific needs and circumstances. We are particularly looking for therapists who are bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese, enhancing our ability to provide inclusive, culturally competent care to our community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license to practice in Texas is essential.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are necessary for potential in-home visits.

• The ability to commit to a minimum of 5-10 hours of work per week, primarily during after-school hours (4-7 PM); weekend availability is favored.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing positive behavior support, particularly in a therapeutic context.

• Prior experience working with children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities is advantageous.
