Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments to develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to client needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy with clients.
• Facilitate supportive group therapy sessions, offering clients opportunities to learn from shared experiences and coping strategies.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records while complying with legal and ethical standards in mental health care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care, advocating for necessary resources and referrals.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops to stay updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our LPCs work with a diverse population encompassing individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use issues. We prioritize accessibility for clients who might otherwise face barriers to receiving mental health care, and we commit to offering our services in a culturally sensitive and respectful manner.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of two years of experience in direct counseling, ideally within a clinical or community setting.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients.
• Previous experience collaborating within a healthcare team and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity.
